From the original Open Call:

The Iroquois is GONE
The Secret Garden is GONE
HeeBeeGeeBees is GONE
The Coffee Pot is ...STILL HERE

But Where is the history of Punk in the Valley?
Hidden in a hundred folders, boxes, basements and closets scattered around the valley.
Let's pull them out and shove them into Roanoke's face again!

In conjunction with this semester's "Punk and Politics" class (taught by Simon Nolen, ex-The Lobsters), Community High School is launching a major project to re-discover, share, and preserve the history of Punk counter-culture in the Valley and its surrounding area.

To pull it off we need YOU--the people who have created and sustained the community from its beginning up to the present day. It can only work with this grassroots support, so please spread the word!!!
